Terri Seese

Terri Lyn (Nicholson) Seese of Fort Worth TX, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2024.
She was born in Dayton, daughter of Violet (Bennett) Carpenter and the late Tommy Nicholson Jr.
She graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 1987. Terri was a registered nurse with a BSN degree, which she earned from Ohio University Zanesville and later earned her Master’s degree. She cared for others as a nurse for over 30 years. She was compassionate, fun loving, and competitive. She loved a good board game or poker tournament.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Frank and Evelyn (Knight) Bennett; her paternal grandparents, Tommy Nicholson Sr., and Morgan and Agnes (Fletcher) Holcomb; several aunts and uncles; along with her Chocolate Lab, Zoey, and her Jack Russell Terrier, Saddie.
Terri is survived by her mother, Violet (Dwight) Carpenter of Summerfield; her daughters, Jessica (Carter) Tompkins of Nashville TN and Samantha (Jay) Garner of Nashville TN; four siblings, Connie (Rusty) Baker of Cambridge, Tommy (Sarah) Nicholson III of Dayton, Kelly Nicholson-Henry of Columbus, and Troy (Kerri) Nicholson of Pickerington; six nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; many aunts and uncles, including her special aunt, Barbara, of Canvas WV; a very dear friend, Deb Brinkman of Omaha NE; and precious mini Schnauzer, Brinkley.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Monday (June 10, 2024) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ava United Methodist Church (50636 OH-821, Ava OH 43711), where a memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Tom Matus officiating. Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, is handling arrangements.
