Lucy Yesilosky (April 26, 1921 – August 3, 2016)

Lucy Fattlar-Yesilosky, former Zanesville resident, died at 9:15 am Wednesday, August 3, 2016 following a brief illness at the Primrose Retirement Center where she had been a resident for the past year.
Mrs. Yesilosky was born April 26, 1921 in Cambridge, OH. The daughter of Urban and Marguerite (Adams) Fattlar and resided in Zanesville until 1942 when she moved to Cleveland, where she was employed at Gould National Battery from where she retired in 1983. She resided in Broadview Heights until returning to Zanesville in 2014.
Mrs. Yesilosky, was a member of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at Mattingly Settlement and a former member of Assumption Catholic Church in Broadview Heights.
She is survived by a brother Joseph (Joan) of Westlake and a sister Peggy (Sherry) Dinan of Zanesville, 16 nieces and nephews and numerous great grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Yesilosky, sisters Ruth Bowers, Madaline Drexel, Virginia Amos, and a brother Bud.
There will be one hour of visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Saturday August 6, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mattingly Settlement in Nashport, OH, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Father Donald Franks officiating. Services will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Zanesville, OH. Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lucy’s memory to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mattingly Settlement in Nashport, OH building fund.
