Night Out with the Ladies

Gather up your girlfriends, mothers, sisters and other ladies in your life and make a plan to visit Dresden Thursday night. 

Eleven shops in the village are taking part in the Ladies’ Night Shopaholic Chocoholic event. It’s a night full of raffles, refreshments, vendors and deals. This is one of the largest events the village hosts.

"We kind of wanted to have a kick off to the holiday season," said General Manager of Weaver’s Square Mary Faray. "We want to make people aware that there still is a vibrant town in Dresden. There’s a lot of business there and a different variety of things in the stores."

Organizers said they’ve seen the event grow the last couple of years and it’s always nice to see groups of family and friends enjoying a night away from the boys. It’s also a way to shop local without the fast pace that comes with the holidays.

Karen Bailey the Co-owner of Bailey’s Home Harbor said, "If you’re wanting to come and do something without the hectic push of a big town Dresden in perfect to go to."

The event runs from 4pm-8pm Thursday. If you stop by the Patio Shops you can register for raffles including Longaberger Baskets and hotel stays. You can buy dinner for $5.00.
