Fatal Accident in Muskingum County

The State Highway Patrol investigates a two vehicle fatal accident in Muskingum County. 

The Patrol reported the crash happened on US 22 around midnight Saturday just west of the South Zanesville Walmart. 

Sgt. Jeffrey Jirles said 27-year-old Kyle Hiles of Roseville was killed and his passenger 31-year-old Carrie Williams was injured and taken to Genesis Good Samaritan for treatment.

Also injured in the crash was 56-year-old Joyce Vanderhoff of Zanesville. She was also taken to Genesis Good Samaritan for treatment. 

The crash remains under investigation.
