LEVEL 3 ISSUED IN MUSKINGUM COUNTY
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz has issued a LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY DUE TO THE FREEZING RAIN. ALL ROADS ARE CLOSED IN MUSKINGUM COUNTY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE…DO NOT DRIVE UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY!!! The level 3 remains in effect until 11 a.m.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is also asking that persons do not attempt to travel unless absolutely necessary during this time. Guernsey County is under a level 1 snow emergency at this time.
Sheriff Lutz says he is working with the Highway Patrol on a 6 vehicle accident on I-70 eastbound neat Zanesville and they hopes to have the scene cleared shortly so the highway can be re-opened.
