Benefit for Adam Shinn
This Sunday friends of Adam Shinn will gather to raise money for family he left behind.
The 26-year-old was killed Monday while deer hunting. The money raised through the spaghetti dinner fundraiser will go to his family.
The meal includes spaghetti, salad, breadstick and drink for $5. Take out will be available. The dinner will take place at the Adamsville Fire House from 11:30-2pm Sunday, December 7.
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office said Shinn suffered a gun shot to the chest while hunting Monday near 5475 French Road. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said the investigation into the accident is ongoing, but they’re pursing a suspect that was in Shinn’s hunting party.
Once the investigation is complete the case will be handed over to the prosecutor’s office for possible charges.
Shinn leaves behind his parents, fiancee and two children.
