B. Greg Finan

Bernard Gregory “Greg” Finan, 85 of Zanesville died at 10:54 AM Friday, June 21, 2024 surrounded by his family at the Oaks at Northpointe following a short illness.
Greg was born December 26, 1938, in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Bernard Finan and Delores Landry Finan.

Greg was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, a veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne and retired from Rockwell International in 1991 after 30 years of service. He was also a member of the VFW, enjoyed riding thousands of miles on his motorcycle. Greg loved supporting all local athletic events. You could always find him in the front row with his white hat and his special group of friends. He never went a day without completing his crossword puzzle, a man with many interests and a great love for his family

Greg is survived by two children, Greg (Lori) Finan and Julie (Kenny) Gray; three grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Gray and Emily Finan; a sister, Ann (Jack) Hardwick and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Rosta Finan, a sister Bonnie Scott and two brothers, Butch Finan and Mike Finan.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral service at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Fr. Stephen Ondrey officiating. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Mattingly Settlement Cemetery.
