Searching For Missing Child

The search is on for a missing 12-year-old Muskingum County girl. She is Emily Thompson and she failed to show up at Tri-Valley Middle School Wednesday. She is described as 5-feet-4 inches tall with blond hair and blue eyes. Her family says she was last seen Wednesday morning, possible wearing a silver coat and carrying a pink bag. If anyone has information on her whereabouts they should call they should call authorities. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says so far a report on the missing child has not been made with his office.
