Nicholas Coconis

Nicholas “Nick” Charles Coconis, 48 of Zanesville died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Genesis Healthcare surrounded by family and friends.

He was born August 1, 1975 in Zanesville, Ohio and graduated from Maysville High School. Nick worked at the family business, Coconis Flooring and Coconis Furniture for many years and was Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302. Nick enjoyed spending most of his time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and a very proud and loving father to his 3 children. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ann Travis Coconis; Parents, Paul “Jr” D. and Janet Coconis; his children, Brittney Coconis, Marley Coconis & Dylan Coconis; Grandchildren, Kapone & Jake; sister, Julie (Terry) Abbott; brother, Ryan Emerick; sister, Crista Williams; sister, Nicole Stotts; Step-father, David Emerick and many nieces and nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Lana Kay Stitt Emerick.

Visitation will be held 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM with funeral service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Chaplain Mary J. Green officiating. Burial will conclude at the Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, Ohio.
