Over 300 Ohio Oil & Gas Association workers gathered at the Zanesville Country Club for a two-day summer meeting.

Association President, David Hill said during the event they will discuss some of the company’s yearly successes and downfalls but says the overall purpose of the meeting is to network and reunite. Hill explains some of the things the company currently focusing on.

“We have several legislative initiatives that we’re working on, we’re trying to keep up on over burdensome regulations at the state level as well as the federal level. Right now regulation are on the top of of our list actually, over regulation,” said David Hill, President, Ohio Oil & Gas Association.
“We’re always looking forward to these events for networking opportunities. The fellow members of OOGA are energy companies who are seeking contractors to build well pads sites to install pipe lines. Anything that requires heavy equipment is where our members would come into place so anything that would create a job for our members is what we’re here to seek out,” said Bertolone.

During dinner, the association presented the Oil Field Patriot Award to Former Executive Vice President, Tom Steward for exemplifying excellence in the industry.
