Mary Barnes

Mary M. Barnes, 91, of Zanesville passed at 2:12 P.M. Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
She was born on Saturday, November 5, 1932, in Sonora, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Huffman and Edna Clara Ball Huffman.
Mary was an avid bowler, so good she could have been a professional. She was a fantastic cook, but liked going to Wendy’s for a double stack. She also enjoyed quilting. Mary enjoyed shopping with Kristine and On Mondays she enjoyed going to eat with friends, especially Mexican food.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Kristine (Greg Martin) Triplett; a step son, Gregory A. Barnes; five step grandchildren, Tiffany R. Rucker, Leianne M. Barnes, Lance G. Barnes, Lakken M. Barnes and Graceanne E. Barnes; a great granddaughter, Paisley M.; a sister in law, Pat Huffman; special beloved fur babies, Rudy and Ruger; special friends, Jenny, Joy, Vy and Becky; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Harold R. Barnes; a son, Randy L. Triplett; five brothers, Clifford, Raymond, Emmett, Bernard and Robert Huffman.
Private services will be held. Burial will conclude at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
