Former OSU Player Predicts Championship Score

With the National Championship Game Monday, everyone has Buckeyes on the brain. Saturday, Zanesville residents had the opportunity to meet some former Ohio State stars.

Former All American Andy Katzenmoyer and Zach Boren signed autographs and chatted with Ohio State fans Saturday afternoon. Few understand the power of Buckeye nation quite like Katzenmoyer who, after years out of the game, can’t believe all the support and praise he still receives.

“Oh it’s huge. I grew up in Westerville which is the North side of town fifteen minutes away from Ohio State. So, being a hometown kid going to Ohio State, playing there I understood how much the fandom was, but it’s even greater after the fact when it’s been so many years removed. You hear stories about this and that, about plays I made, teams I played for. Always cool,” said Katzenmoyer.

Of course we couldn’t end our time with Katzenmoyer until we heard his predictions for Monday’s game.

“The Bucks are gonna win of course. Score prediction 45-35 ohio state.”
