I-70 reopens After Semi-Truck Crash in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, OH – Interstate 70 in Muskingum County has re-opened following an early morning crash. According to patrol Sgt. Jeff Jirles, at 7:20 this morning, a semi-truck driven by 35-year-old James Moore of Saint Louis, Missouri, reported a steering tire failure while traveling eastbound near milepost 149. The truck veered off the road into the median and overturned, spilling a load of liquid baby formula. Moore was transported to Genesis Hospital with minor injuries. The interstate reopened to traffic at one o’clock this afternoon.
