UPDATE: Fatal Fire in Philo

A Muskingum County woman is dead after an overnight fire.

Muskingum County Coroner Dr, Charles Feicht says 58-year-old Toni Finnerty of Philo died of some inhalation. The fire took place at 210 3rd Street in Philo around 11:45 Monday night. Harrison Township Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Todd Elmore says when his crew arrived on the scene smoke was showing and flames were coming out of the windows. Elmore says it took about 15 to 20 minutes to get the fire under control. He says investigators are not looking at this fire as suspicious. Elmore says the home is likely a total loss. Wayne Township Fire Department assisted at the fire.
