Meet Pet Of The Week, Kelly
Between her waggly tail, sweet face, and spunky personality, this week’s pet of the week is sure to complete your home.
Kelly is a three-year-old boxer mix who came to the shelter in bad condition in October.
“When she came to us she was a stray, and she was not in good shape,” said The Animal Shelter Executive Director, Jody Murray. “She was underweight, had some open wounds on her skin. She’s just thrived since she’s been here. She’s gained weight, she looks good, and she’s done really well here at the shelter.”
It’s easy to see that Kelly is now a happy healthy dog who’s ready to meet her permanent family. Kelly is spayed, up to date on her shots, and loves people and dogs alike.
“She is a lot of energy,” said Murray. “Still in that puppy stage, so she needs someone who can walk her and keep some of that energy off.”
If you think Kelly is the perfect pet for you then stop by the Animal Shelter to get your new family member. Also, keep an eye out for more information about the Animal Shelters new Yappy Hour event coming up March.
