Muskies Improve to 3-1 with Dominant Win Over Coshocton
NEW CONCORD, OH
Picking things up in the second half where John Glenn leads Coshocton, 28-7 in the third quarter, backed by a wild student section.
John Glenn, on its opening drive would pick up right where it left off with Owen Edwards putting the ball in the bread basket, never making Ryder Pennington even change his stride a little bit, extending the lead to 28. Following a three and out, Andrew Glaub awaits the punt, and he’ll wait for some blocks, takes off for the sideline. Oh, too slow, and he makes a guy miss but is stopped by Colton Conkle as he makes a touchdown-saving tackle. But, in his defense, Reese Metzger would have his back, because the very next play, he goes in untouched for the ten-yard touchdown, 42-7, Muskies.
A mark of a special team is being good in all three phases. Dominic Bates makes sure the other teams are special, as he blocks and recovers a punt in the end zone for a touchdown.
Powered by a great crowd and special teams play, John Glenn cruises on to win 49-14, redeeming last week’s loss.
