NEWARK, OHIO (AP) – According to police, 44-year-old Scott Murphy, Pastor of the Newark Heights Church of God, was arrested Monday after being accused of having sex with a 15-year-old parishioner on church property. Murphy is charged with sexual battery and prosecutors say he also exchanged nude images with the teen.
Adam Burris Pleads Guilty
GUERNSEY COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – According to police, 33-year-old Adam Burris entered a guilty plea in Guernsey County Common Please Court in connection with the death of 26-year-old, pizza delivery driver, Kayla Thompson. A three judge panel will determine id Burris should get the death penalty or another sentence.
