Man Trapped Under Bus

An area mechanic is lucky to be alive after he was pinned under a school bus Wednesday morning. Zanesville Fire Department Lt. Randy Dunn says it happened at Lucas Truck Sales on State Street. Dunn says the mechanic was working on the bus when it rolled off the jack and fell on him. Other mechanics were able to use a forklift to free the man before the fire department arrived. Lt. Dunn says the man was in serious pain and taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, but did not appear to have life threatening injuries. The name of the man was not released.
