One Injured in 3 Vehicle Accident
Coshocton County Sheriff’s Officials said alcohol is believed to be a factor in a three car injury accident.
The accident took place just after 8pm Saturday, February 14, on US 36 near the intersection of Coshocton Road 170. Authorities identify the driver causing the accident as Joshua Simmons of Reynoldsburg.
Simmons vehicle was heading east on US 36 when he struck two other vehicles also heading east. After striking the vehicles he went off the right side of the roadway, overturned several times and was ejected from the vehicle.
Simmons was transported by Coshocton EMS to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital and later transported to Grant Hospital.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton County REACT, and Prince’s Wrecker.
This accident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
