Confessions Of An OSU Usher
For nearly two decades Trevor Zahara has been an usher for Ohio State football games.
Now, Zahara is telling all in his new book “Confessions Of An OSU Usher.” The book chronicles stories from himself and other OSU football ushers.
“During the off season, well I’ve been an usher at OSU stadium for 18 years, and during the off season a couple of us ushers would have adventures and stuff. And my good friend Jim Morris, who’s a head usher, and he always had all of these stories, and unfortunately he passed away in 2011 he was only 61 years old. So I went to the assistant athletic director and I said man he’s got all of these stories we have to start documenting them.”
That’s exactly what he did, in the form of his newest book that was published in September. He says this was one of the hardest things he has done.
“You know I keep pinching myself saying I can’t believe I’ve done this. But it’s been the greatest experience of my life and I’m honored to represent the ushers and red coats and band members.”
You can purchase Zahara’s book on Amazon or Barns and Noble’s website. He hopes that within the next couple years he’ll be able to get to work on part two of his confessions.
