2015 Visitors Guide Released

The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce has officially released its 2015 Visitors Guide.

We stopped by the Welcome Center to take a look at the booklet. We spoke to Marketing and Group Sales Manager for the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Lori Kappes who told us more about it.

“It is our most requested marketing piece for the county. Its inclusive of all the tourism related activities, restaurants, attractions, hotels, calendar of events, maps.”

Creating the book itself takes six months. Once it is finished, 110,000 are printed and distributed through surrounding counties and states to draw tourists to the our area. Kappes says that the area has a lot of offer guests.

“We have a lot of wonderful things to see and do in Muskingum County and so we just want to showcase that to visitors and tourism is a big business in Muskingum County and it really does contribute to the local economy.”
