One Person Injured in Accident

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a motorcycle-car accident. It happened around 5 p.m. near 538 Epply Avenue. Police say the vehicle was making an illegal u-turn and the motorcycle was unable to stop and struck the front end of the car. Police say the driver of the vehicle will be cited for illegal u-turn and the motorcycle rider will also be cited for lack of endorsement. Police say the motorcyclist was injured and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by Genesis Community Ambulance. No names were released.
