Dredging at Buckeye Lake

Dredging machines are in place at Buckeye Lake to start finding a short term solution.

State senator Troy Balderson said both a shallow dredge and a deep water dredge are on site at the lake. And starting April 1 the shallow dredge will begin dredging around the marina and around some of the businesses. Balderson does not have an estimated time of completion for this. But he has confirmed that immediately after the shallow dredge finishes, the deep water one will go through the same areas. He said it’s in an effort to open up the area a little while repairs are made to the dam.
