State Route 555 To Close In Perry County
The Ohio Department of Transportation says an area road is going to be closed for emergency repairs. Beginning Friday State Route 555 in Perry County will be closed between Deavertown in Morgan County to State Route 37 in Portersville. O-dot made the decision to close the road due to deteriorating road conditions. The freeze and thaw of the season coupled with increased truck traffic to the route have caused the road to fail beyond safe driving conditions. The road will be open to local business and residents until work can begin in late May. Traffic will be detoured via State Route 93N to State Route 669E to State Route 37W to Morgan County State Route 555.
