Christs Table Accepting Cake Donations
Maybe you attend the Carr Center Cake Auction, but don’t have a sweet tooth for the cake you just bid on? Christ’s Table in Zanesville has a solution for you.
We sat down with Keely Warden, Executive Director of Christ’s Table who told us cake week is always exciting for them. Warden says Christ’s table isn’t the only location in town who would enjoy receiving a cake donation.
“We want to include some of the other agencies too. The Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christ, the Hot Meal Programs that are serving a hot meal every day.”
Christ’s Table only spends their funds on food with nutritional value so any kind of cake donations are a special treat. Warden thanks the Carr Center for allowing them to take part in the event. She always wanted to extend her thanks to the generous community.
“We also want to thank the community because this is such a unique community. We all work together and we so appreciate the businesses and the donors that come together to support all of the events that happen in Muskinugm County but we want to remind the public that the agencies work together too.”
Warden says there is no competition between organizations in the community and everyone supports one another. If you would like to drop of your cakes to Christ’s Table, their open hours are 6:30AM to 3:30PM on Fridays and 9:30AM to 1PM on Saturdays.
