Former Zanesville Surgeon Dies

A longtime Zanesville surgeon has died. 91-year-old Dr. Melvin Krohn died Thursday in Cleveland. He practiced Orthopedic Surgery in Zanesville from 1958 to 1995 at Orthopedic Associates. He served in the army in World War II where he was stationed in the Philippines. Calling hours are on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. service at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. Dr Krohn will be laid to rest at Beth Abraham Jewish Cemetery in Zanesville.
