Harvey Plea Change

A Zanesville man facing four counts of rape and one count of kidnapping appears in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. The Prosecutor’s Office says that 37-year-old Elmer Dewitt Harvey Jr. changed his plea to guilty to two counts of rape. All other charges will be dropped at sentencing. Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation and continued Harvey’s bond at one-million dollars.
