County Road 16 Roadwork

Roadwork may delay motorists traveling on County Road 16 in Coshocton County starting next week. 

Beginning Monday, County workers will begin replacing aging culverts on the roadway. As a result County Road 16 will close between the City of Coshocton and Morgan Run Road during the hours of 7am-5pm. 

The first closures are expected to last one week in this area and then progress to the east towards the Village of West Lafayette. 

Officials said though traffic will be maintained, residents should expect significant delays throughout the area and motorists are encouraged to use the alternate route of US 36. 

County Engineer Frederick Wachtel said it’s all in preparation for a significant resurfacing project later this year.
