Rosecrans Graduates Another Senior Class

The 27 senior Bishops celebrated their four year long journey today.

It’s graduation day at Bishop Rosecrans. Graduates walked across the stage at Secrest Auditorium. Graduate Matthew Beebe said that this class was a special one and that he’s happy to be a part of it.

"We’re a close knit group and it’s really hard to leave them but..[I’m] happy. It’s over I guess," said Beebe.

This class had 13 students graduate with honors and in total the class received 1.3 million dollars in college scholarships. The school’s principal, Jennifer Mallett said that she’s sad to see the seniors go but that she’s sure they’ll be successful.

"This senior class was really special because they were so talented," said Mallett. "Especially some of them with drama and music. They produced and directed there own play at the end of the year. The "Calamityville Terror", so that talent is going to be sorely missed. "

The ceremony took place from two until three in the afternoon. After the ceremony, students and faculty exchanged hugs and well wishes.
