Power Restored to Customers

AEP reports that power is back on to all customers.

**9:47 UPDATE**

According to AEP’s website, as of 9:35 power has been restored to all but 285 people in Perry County.

**8:40 UPDATE**

Power has been restored to all AEP customers who lost it in both Licking and Muskingum Counties. AEP still reports 1,359 customers without power in Perry County.

**7:20 UPDATE**

A returned call from AEP gave clarification to the outages with updated numbers.

Licking County: 212 customers are without power near Hebron. AEP said the 5:18 p.m. outage is due to a downed power line. Service is expected to return at 9:30 p.m.

Muskingum County: A downed power line near Nashport has caused 67 people to be without power. The outage happened at 3:19 p.m. and AEP expects power to be restored around 8:30.

Perry County: Problems with a transmission line have left 1,358 people without power. Of that, 1,074 reside in the Somerset area and the other 284 are in the Redfield area. The outage began at 6:22 p.m. AEP has crews on the scene, but there is not currently an estimate for when power will be restored.

American Electric Power reports power outages in two counties.

According to AEP Ohio’s website, there are outages in Licking and Perry Counties. The outages as of 7:00 p.m. are as follows:

Licking: 212

Perry: 1,358
