New Name: Growing Image for Brookdale Zanesville

A senior living facility has announced a name change.

Special guests attended a Tuesday ribbon cutting ceremony to signify the beginning of Brookdale Zanesville. The facility on Bowers Lane is formerly known as Emeritus at North Hills.

Executive Director, Sarah Vincenzo, said the facility is changing names to more closely state that it is part of the Zanesville Community.

“We just want to be a part of the community because we love the seniors and they’re our family, and we are looking for more family members and ways that we can enrich their lives,” Vincezo said.

Even though there’s anew brand, Vincezo said the message is only expanding and not changing.

“We enrich their lives through having recreational things, spiritually realizing that people still want to grow, be stimulated, have physical things to do, carve memories,” she said. “And they come together here as family and in friendship.”

The guests joined employees, residents and family members in the dedication. Brookdale is the nation’s largest senior living provider. It operates around 60 facilities in Ohio.
