Charges Filed in Coshocton Robbery

Charges have been filed against a man regarding a robbery that occurred at Woodbury Outfitters in Coshocton Tuesday.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Jeremy H. Ferguson of Trinway, was charged with Robbery, a third-degree felony.  On Tuesday, a Loss Prevention Officer at Woodbury Outfitters called the sheriff’s office in reference to a possible theft at the store. An altercation then ensued over the suspect attempting to leave the premises. Before officers arrived, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle along with another adult male and two small children, causing a pursuit. The two males were taken into custody and the children were left with Coshocton County Children’s Services.

Additional charges may be filed, pending further investigation.
