Cry Out America Will Honor First Responders

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– A local organization is commemorating 9/11 with a prayer event.
Cry Out America is hosting it’s annual gathering at America Pride on Sunday, September 11th. Organizer Amy Moore explained why this event is vital for the community.
“I believe in my heart that the lord himself wants us to cry out to him for help to give us wisdom and guidance,” Moore said. “That’s what we’re doing for Cry Out America. We’re crying out. We’ll turn to God to help us up, restore our land, to lead us, to guide us to better decisions.”
In addition to the prayer event, Moore said they will be honoring local first responders with coffee and donuts. The free breakfast will take place on Friday, September 9th starting at 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Community Ambulance on Linden Avenue.
“If you’re a firefighter, a police officer, an EMT, please come join us for coffee and donuts on that date,” Moore said.
Moore said Cry Out America is much more than just a prayer event. Moore said this event will feature songs from the barbershop quartet, a drama dance, and appearances by Representative Brian hill, and Senator Troy Balderson.
