Robbery at Subway on 7th Street

Zanesville Police are investigating a robbery at the Subway on 7th Street in downtown Zanesville.

According to police, a white male with a black hat in a long sleeve t-shirt robbed the local Subway on 7th Street around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Police were told from an employee working the cash register that the suspect came into the subway, reached over the counter, took an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the scene on foot.

Police said that the suspect was unarmed and is currently still at large.  Police will be sending in a crime scene investigator to further evaluate the scene.
