Father’s Day Chicken Dinner is Back

Barbecue chicken dinners are back this Father’s day, provided by the Falls Township Fire Department.

$1,700 meals will be prepared by the department and volunteers. Meals include a half chicken, cole slaw, apple sauce, a bag of chips, and a roll. Captain of Falls Township Fire Department Brady Johnson said the meals cost just $8.00 and all the proceeds will benefit the township fire department

"We apply it to a certain area or operation discipline within the department such as examples like our dive team. We have to buy dry suits and full face masks or on the fire side it may be turn out gear or self-containing breathing apparatus," said Johnson.

Johnson said it’s guaranteed to be a well cooked meal.

"Well we’re firemen.. so we’re good at cooking anything," said Johnson.

You can carry out or dine in at the Dillon Falls station and carry out at station 302 on Richey Road. They will begin serving at 11:00 a.m. until they sell out.
