Redbud Woodworking Joins Downtown

A woodworking furniture store is joining the downtown revitalization on July 3.

Redbud Woodworking creates one of a kind furniture by hand but every piece starts at the same home.

“These pieces are actually a labor of love from each of us,” said Owner Emily Bellville. “The wood is harvested and milled on his [her husband, the woodworker] family farm. It’s dried here in the shop. Everything we have in the shop, we’ve had our hand on from the very beginning to the very end when we sell it. ”

If there isn’t something in the showroom that catches your eye, you can also come in with a fresh idea Bellville said they can work to make it a reality.

“They can pick out their own wood that they want, any kind of finishes that they’d like on it and we can do that,” said Bellville.

Downtown Association Manager Dana Matz said the store is the 215th business to join the blooming downtown area. The grand opening on July 3 will give the public a chance to see what Redbud has to offer and get some free ice cream.
