OVI Checkpoint Tomorrow
The State Highway Patrol said they’ll hold an OVI checkpoint Friday evening.
The federally funded checkpoint will take place in Fairfield County. The exact location will be announced Friday morning.
Based on provisional data the State Patrol said there were 271 OVI-related fatal crashes in which 297 people were killed last year. The Commander of the Lancaster Post Lt. S.E. Caplinger said that each year troopers make an average of 25,000 OVI arrests.
