Longtime McDonald’s Restaurant Owner Dies

 A well known Zanesville businessman has died.  88-year-old Robert Fellers passed away at 3:03 Monday morning at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House.  Fellers owned and operated the area McDonald’s franchises from 1965 to 1993. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 43 years.  He was also a member of Sertoma, the American Legion, VFW, Zanesville Art Institute, Farm Bureau and the Zanesville Country Club.  Calling hours are Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.He will be laid to rest next to his wife Leona at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.  The Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
