Opening Small with Big Hopes
A new burger joint in Zanesville looks to cater to the hearty American Burger eaters.
At least, that’s what BuckinBurger co-owner, Dan Woodward said. The business opened at 11:00 Wednesday morning. But Woodward said they’ve been working for six months to nail down a location and open up. After some unsuccessful attempts to find one, the two owners made the decision to open on wheels and give people a taste of BuckinBurger.
“Start getting the food into some people’s mouths and start building from there,” he said with a smile.
The business has opened in a food trailer near K-Mart on Maple Avenue. Woodward said they are only serving fresh items with food deliveries every other day.
“We don’t even have a freezer in here,” he said. “We’re keeping everything in a refrigerator. Fresh, build your own, yeah, that’s the flare.”
