I-70 West of Columbus Still Closed

State transportation officials plan to replace a bridge that was badly damaged when an overturned tanker truck carrying ethanol caught fire and forced closures on two major highways. The tanker overturned Wednesday morning along I-270 on the west side of Columbus, burning beneath an eastbound I-70 bridge. Thursday morning the eastbound lanes of I-70 west of Columbus remain closed until sometime Friday. The westbound lanes of I-70, west of Columbus are open.
