Possible Bomb Being Investigated in Zanesville

A report of a possible bomb is being investigated in the 1200 block of Henry Street in Zanesville.

The Columbus Bomb Squad, Zanesville Fire Department, and Zanesville Police Department all responded to 1277 Henry Street for reports of a possible bomb. According to ZPD officials, a female resident at the home called just after 3 this afternoon to report her husband for making a possible pipe bomb inside the home. Officials believe it to be a false alarm, but still treated the situation as a real threat. ZPD officials said if the reports are false, the woman could possibly face charges, including inducing panic. The incident remains under investigation.
