Bomb Threat Not Real

Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says Tuesday night’s bomb threat turned out to be nothing more than a domestic dispute. The Chief says that 25-year-old Megan Moyer of Zanesville was charged with inducing panic after she called police and claimed her husband was building a pipe bomb. Miller says in reality she was having a domestic dispute with her husband. Moyer was arrested and will appear before Zanesville Municipal Court Judge Bill Joseph to enter a plea. Police, Zanesville firefighters and the Columbus Bomb Squad all responded to 1277 Henry Street Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
