Musical Graces Renner Theater Stage

Downtown Zanesville got a visit from a very famous family…

The Addams Family is taking the stage at the Renner Theater. As the first weekend of shows comes to a close, Zane Trace Players Member Melissa Staker said the show has been very well received.

"Well our crowds have been wonderful and we listen to people as they’re leaving and just get their responses to kind of get their true responses and as people are leaving they’re saying what a wonderful show it is so that makes us all very happy inside to hear that they’ve really enjoyed it," said Staker.

The show was cast just eight weeks ago but Staker said that’s long enough to form a bond.

"When you work so closely with a group of people you just become family so just to see that family grow and become the Addams Family.. it’s a lot of fun," said Staker.

The Addams Family will appear again next weekend. Friday and Saturday showings are at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets cost just 15 dollars for adults, 12 for seniors and students and 5 for kids 12 and under.
