Keith’s Bond Set

A Glouster man accused in the death of 55-year-old Fred Fisher, of Corning, had his first court appearance on Tuesday.

According to Perry County Court Records bond was set for 23-year-old Brandon Issac Keith at $250,000. A preliminary hearing is set to take place Thursday, July 30 at 10:45am.

Keith is being charged with felony assault.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said on July 23, deputies were called to 113 East Main Street in Corning regarding an unresponsive male lying in a parking lot.

Lt. Kevin Starrett said it appears Fisher was assaulted by Keith.

Fisher died Sunday at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

Lt. Starrett said that more charges are likely after the case is presented to a Perry County Grand Jury.
