Coca Cola Employee Celebrates 50 Years

A local woman celebrated 50 years with Coca-Cola Wednesday.

Linda Kuhn has worked in the office at the Zanesville Coca-Cola plant since 1965, and attributes her success in the business to not only the company, but also her co-workers. Her fellow colleagues threw her a surprise party in honor of today’s milestone.

“It was a real surprise, and I am very honored that they have put all of this together for and everybody who’s shown up, friends, co-workers, and my family,” Kuhn said.

Coke employees held a ceremony for Kuhn, followed by a celebratory cookout. Kuhn told us she sees retirement in the near future, but said if she could, she’d work for coke for another 50 years.

“It’s a great company to work for and I have met so many people through the years, and so many changes have taken place and it’s all been for the positive, and I really like my job and I think it’s a wonderful company to work for,” she said.

The plant has been serving the Zanesville community Coca-Cola products since 1906.
