Gas Prices Down This Week
Gas prices have crept closer toward two dollars this week.
Today we stopped by the Exxon on Underwood and found that the $ 2.39 price tag has made people feel better about their visit to the pump.
“Well when it approaches mid 3’s and 4 I don’t really like that,” said Ryan Gates. “We’re logging a lot of miles across the state and it’s been a nice help. ”
“It’s pretty good,” said Thomas Ankrom. “Seems like everyone’s been traveling a lot and we’ve been doing a lot of taking the kids places since we’ve been getting some nice weather here, it’s been nice so yeah it’s been good to have them a little lower.”
“I don’t really drive that much but when I do I like low gas prices so can’t complain at $ 2.39 so I’d say that’s pretty good,” said Jonathan McLean.
“I”m glad they’re going down I mean especially in the summer you do a lot of driving so I’m happy about that,” said Tim Joy.
The prices are still on a decline from the numbers in June and the downward trend is expected to continue.
