Car Show to Honor Local Man

A car show made it’s second appearance in the memory of a man lost to a heart attack.

The Frank Berlo Car Show filled the parking lot of the Zanesville Home Depot where Berlo worked as a Lead Generator. Co-Worker Tammy Miller said she’s remembering her friend.

“He was here, the store opened about 10 years ago now, and he was here,” said Miller. “He was one of the first employees. A lot of people remember him. He was real friendly. He had, his hair was always perfect and a big smile.”

The car show is in his memory but the show itself started with Berlo. He hosted the show for several years and Miller is simply carrying it on in his name.

“I’m going to say 60 percent of the employees here have been here since the store opened so they remember him so they get kind of teary eyed every time it comes up because he did a lot of big car shows, big airplane shows,” said Miller. “They taxied them down Maple [Avenue].”

The show was free to register for and prizes were provided to top cars.
