ODOT Schedules Bridge Replacement

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Guernsey County Road 366 will be closed for the next several months.

Crews will close a portion of the road west of I-77 and south of CR 633 for bridge replacement. ODOT announced that crews will begin work Monday and the road is expected to reopen Saturday, October 31, weather permitting.

The project is a part of the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program, which is a recent initiative by the state to reduce the number of deficient county bridges. According to ODOT’s website, "the program provides $120 million" during the fiscal years of 2015-2017.

Bridge replacements are completed with 100 percent federal funds and require no local matching.
