Coshocton Man charged with Felonious Assault

A Coshocton man has been charged with felonious assault after a two-year-old was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Following a lengthy investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon R. Harsh, 36, has been formally charged with felonious assault, a 2nd-degree felony, in connection with an incident that occurred earlier this month.

The sheriff’s office said on Aug. 10, it received a 911 call in reference to a two-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries taken to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She was then transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and was later released to Coshocton County Children Services and is doing well.

The incident remains under investigation. Assisting the Detectives with the investigation is the Coshocton County Children Services and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
