Rides Inspected Daily

The rides featured here at the fair have seen states all over the country.

They see countless rides and undergo set up and tear down on a regular basis. With all that movement, it takes a keen eye to keep them safe and operational. The Bates Amusement team works together to ensure successful ride after ride.

“We tear down," said Bates Representative Frank Puskarich. "We set up again … you can look at that piece four times out of the month. Some rides get put together and they don’t get disassembled until years down the road.”

They also inspect each ride every morning before the festivities begin. Any ride that is seen unfit will be closed.
